As with the Kaladesh Bundle, the Aether Revolt Bundle has much less waste, excising the cardboard pillars that helped make the box fill its shape and replacing it with a functional, if plain, black box with a planeswalker logo on it. For some, it might not be of particular use, especially since it's not quite well shaped for a card box, but that it's an option for those that want to use it is nice and makes the overall box less wasteful. The internal divider box also makes a return, which is useful because you can use it to separate a deck from other cards or to stuff with accessories and, if you don't care for it, you can also just toss it.
Aside from that, you get ten booster packs and at an MSRP that is a little bit of a better value than nine at the older price as well as the usual spindown counter and pack of eighty basic lands. The card box has that nice stylish angular cut, letting you grasp it from one side of the box to remove the lid, but like all previous card boxes, these aren't quite made for transport since the lid comes off quite easily, unless your contents are also in boxes so they won't spill. The Aether Revolt Bundle is definitely a bit more suited to players who have already invested in Magic as the contents are really more for storage and accessories; the ten packs fill most of the price already so you're looking at spending about three dollars MSRP on the boxes, lands, and spindown life counter, and booklet, which isn't too bad a deal if that's what you're looking for. 8/10
