U.S. Magistrate Keith Ball set bond at $10,000 for Claiborne Frazier, Austin Frazier, C.E. Frazier, Jr., and Spencer Copeland this afternoon. Merrida Coxwell represented Spencer Copeland, John Colette represented Austin Frazier, and a federal public defender represented Claiborne Frazier and C.E. Frazier.
Attorney Cynthia Speetjens and Claiborne Frazier said they were "negotiating" over her possibly representing Claiborne but she refused to represent him at that arraignment. What was amusing was Austin's stance. During his entire time in front of the judge, he stood with his hands on his hips. The frat boy fighting stance, I guess. Judge Ball set trial for February 5, 2013. The Fraziers live in Florida and obtained permission from the court to remain in Florida, subject to conditions of their bond.
